Advanced Tire Service

Excellent Service for Commercial Trucks I brought my company semi into Advanced Tire Service on 7/23/26 to deal with a steer tire that wouldn't hold pressure. The tires were brand new, so I knew something else had to be up. The crew took the time to properly inspect everything and spotted a very fine crack in the rim that was causing the slow leak. They replaced the rim and got everything mounted back up right. Catching a cracked rim on a steer tire is a huge safety issue, and I'm really grateful for their attention to detail and quick turnaround. Skilled mechanics who know what they're doing. I’ll definitely be back!

We just had a horrible experience with Advanced Tire Service on Main Street in Gainesville, Florida. In May of last year, a little more than 12 months ago, we purchased Goodyear Assurance All Season tires for our car. We paid for the tires, an alignment, and a “lifetime balance and rotation” package. Yesterday we went back to Advanced for an oil change and a tire rotation. After performing this work, Advanced also did several system checks and inspected the tires. “Mark”, one of the employees in the office, told me my tire treads for wearing thin on three of the tires and one was in the “just okay” range. He mentioned that I should probably get new tires on my next oil change in 5000 miles. I was appalled. You see, the car has only been driven 12,000 miles in 12 months. The Goodyear warranty on tires is 65,000 miles, given normal wear and tear. When “Mark” looked at the invoice from 12 months ago, he thought that the mechanic, a newer hire, probably made a mistake on the tire tread depth gauge. Another mechanic went out to the car to double check the reading, and confirmed that the tire treads had indeed been worn beyond what one would expect after only 12,000 miles of dri

I am beyond disappointed at this place. I was a customer that avoided this place for over a year for another reason and when I decided to give them another chance, I left disappointed and I will not be back. I asked for an inspection/diagnosis but was told that i needed to reschedule fot it. I usually always get full synthetic oil changes but for some strange reason, I didn't receive that yesterday when I went to the shop. Then when I got to work last night, my oil light began to flicker. I will just continue to take my car where I've been taking it for over a year and not go back to them EVER again.

Excellent customer service. Quick and efficient. I am very grateful I stumbled across Advanced Tires, much better than the service I received at Firestone and only 2 blocks away on Main St.

I've been seeing these folks for about 2 and a half years since I moved here. The staff here are all knowledgeable, kind, and reasonably accommodating. It's good vehicle maintenance too for a price that doesn't burn a hold through my wallet. They deserve every star, after helping me with a month long ordeal that I had been dealing with in my Hyundai. Never had issues at this place. That's valuable for the kind of times we're in right now, so I thought I would pass on my feedback. Thank y'all so much for keeping me mobile!
